About Me

Breanna Robinson is a first year medical student at the Frank H Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass) in 2016.

After graduating from UMass, she moved back to Las Vegas where she worked as an Advanced EMT for two and a half years providing emergency pre-hospital care to the community. Since attending medical school, Breanna is currently an Ensign in the US Navy and has hopes of pursuing a career in emergency medicine or in orthopedic surgery/sports medicine.

For her capstone project, she is interested in studying the effectiveness of an educational video teaching youth soccer coaches how to recognize concussions and ensuring coaches know the updated concussion protocols. She hopes this blog will be a stepping stone in learning the skills to produce well-structured video projects to help her in her future endeavors.
